Refund policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
Signalworks DSP sells digital software and license credentials. Because these products are delivered electronically, there is no physical item to return. This policy explains when a purchase may qualify for a refund and does not limit any right or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to limit.
Try Before You Buy
Where a demonstration version is available, we encourage you to use it before purchasing. Please also review the published system requirements, supported plug-in formats, operating-system compatibility, and host compatibility for the product.
A demonstration can help confirm that the software works with your system and suits your workflow. Audio results remain dependent on your instrument, performance, recording chain, settings, host, and monitoring environment.
Refund Eligibility
Contact us within 14 calendar days after purchase if:
- you were charged more than once for the same product by mistake;
- we cannot deliver or reissue the purchased license credential or download access;
- the product’s compatibility or system requirements were materially misstated on the product page when you purchased it, and the problem prevents you from using the product; or
- the software has a material technical defect that prevents its ordinary use on a supported system and we cannot resolve the problem through reasonable support.
We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify the order and diagnose the problem, such as the product and version, order number, operating system, computer type, DAW or host and version, steps to reproduce, screenshots, error messages, or crash reports. Except for duplicate charges or failed delivery, please allow us a reasonable opportunity to troubleshoot before a refund is approved.
Nothing in this 14-day request period overrides a longer period or additional remedy required by applicable law.
Situations Normally Not Eligible
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, we normally do not issue refunds for:
- a change of mind after the digital product or license credential has been delivered;
- failure to review clearly published system requirements or compatibility information;
- use with an unsupported operating system, computer, plug-in format, DAW, host, or third-party product;
- dissatisfaction based only on subjective tone, taste, workflow preference, or an expectation not stated on the product page;
- compatibility lost because of an operating-system, host, hardware, or third-party change made after purchase;
- purchases made more than 14 calendar days before the refund request; or
- a license obtained, shared, transferred, or used in violation of the Signalworks DSP Software EULA.
Free products, trials, and promotional licenses with no purchase price are not eligible for a monetary refund.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@signalworksdsp.com and include:
- your name;
- your order number;
- the email address used at checkout;
- the product name; and
- a short explanation of the issue.
Please do not send payment-card details by email. If your license or download email is merely missing, check spam or junk folders first and contact us so we can verify the order and reissue it.
Approved Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We normally initiate an approved refund within five business days. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider controls when the credit appears and may require additional processing time.
If a purchase is refunded, the associated paid license ends. You must stop using the refunded software and delete the associated license credential and any copies under your control. The Software EULA continues to govern use that occurred before the refund and any provisions that survive termination.
Digital-Content Cancellation and Mandatory Consumer Rights
Some jurisdictions give consumers a statutory right to cancel or withdraw from a digital-content purchase. Where permitted by applicable law, that right may end after digital supply begins only if the consumer has expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the resulting loss of the cancellation or withdrawal right. If applicable law’s requirements for ending that right have not been met, the statutory right remains available.
Rights and remedies for digital content that is defective, not as described, or not supplied as required also remain available wherever applicable law provides them. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits non-waivable rights concerning refunds, cancellation, withdrawal, conformity, warranties, or remedies.
