Licensing And Activation

Signalworks uses simple offline licensing for paid products.

DualRig

DualRig is free and requires no license file, account activation, or machine authorization.

IR Player and DualIR Player are also free and require no license file.

80s Suite

One 80s Suite purchase includes:

• The complete macOS and Windows installers for 80s Rack and all six individual effects.
• One signed offline .lic file that authorizes every included plug-in.

Current installers are always available from the 80s Suite product page. Shopify also sends a download email after checkout. The signed license file arrives in a separate Signalworks license email.

Importing Your License

1. Save the .lic attachment from your Signalworks license email.
2. Open 80s Rack or any of the six included effects.
3. Open Settings.
4. Choose License File and select the .lic file.
5. Reopen the plug-in if prompted.

The same license works across 80s Rack, 80s Chorus, 80s Color Delay, 80s Sync Delay, 80s Reverb, 80s Compressor, and 80s Detune.

20-Minute Demo

80s Rack and all six individual effects process audio without an account or license for a 20-minute host session. The final half-second fades to silence instead of stopping abruptly. Restarting the DAW or standalone host begins a fresh demo session.

Preset saving remains available during the demo. You can import a valid 80s Suite license before or after the demo ends; processing resumes immediately after a valid license is accepted.

Offline And Machine-Independent

The license is signed, machine-independent, and does not require online activation or phone-home checks. It can be used on supported macOS and Windows systems. Keep a backup copy of the .lic file with your installer and purchase records.
