On Windows, the AAX bundles install to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\. The standalone application installs to C:\Program Files\Signalworks DSP\80s Suite\80s Rack.exe and is available from the Windows Start menu.
Getting Started
- Download the current macOS or Windows installer from the 80s Suite product page or your Shopify delivery email.
- Run the installer with your DAW closed.
- Open 80s Rack or any included effect to begin the account-free 20-minute demo.
- Save the signed
.licfile from the separate Signalworks license email. - Open Settings, choose
License File, and select the.licfile when you are ready to authorize the Suite.
The license is machine-independent and does not require online activation or phone-home checks.
The demo clock covers one 20-minute DAW or standalone host session. Restarting the host begins a fresh demo session. Importing a valid Suite license restores processing immediately, even if the demo has already ended.
